Pass down a hill, on a narrow no through lane, overhung with Cornish oaks, arrive at the shore and before you will be a sheltered sandy cove. Backing the cove and set on the Helford, a conservation river, is Helford Passage. A hamlet of less than forty dwellings, clustered around the old Ferry Boat Inn, facing due South across the estuary and just two miles from the open sea.
